A new creative artist came along. With the iconic interpretation of her famous friend it was great to see how creative young people are (my daughter of 10 years old). Join this crazy crowd, little girl.

It is not my favorite brand but this was really impressive. Crystal, light and dark goes well together. This year Swarovski opened Crystal Palace, commissioned by five separate artists. Tokujin Yoshioka, Gwenaël Niolas, Vincent van Duysen, Rogier van der Heide and Yves Béhar all applied their own respective take on the famous brand. Compliments – it was a great brand performance in a year in which everybody was keeping their wallets closed tight.

Again at the same spot as last year, Veuve Clicquot was attending with some unique pieces of design. Humerto & Fernando Campana were invited to create a contemporary gloriette, a reinterpretation of the 19th century folly & gazebo.

I always appreciate brands who understand the effect of design in building their brand.
